Stephanie Greene - Owner, Gravity Gone Music

She began her career in 1990 when she started pitched songs independently while attending Belmont University. After graduating from Belmont in 1994 with a degree in Music Business, she worked for Life Music Group.

In 1995, she became the Creative Director for Chrysalis Music Group where until the end of 1999 she participated in all aspects of the creative process from signing writers, pitching songs, shopping artists for record deals and establishing co-writes.

In 2000, she formed her own independent management company where she represented songwriters and promoted their careers. Including: Dallas Davidson, Chris Tompkins, Brett Jones, Kent Blazy, Cathy Majeski, and Eric Silver. During this time she formed & co- owned a tip sheet service called Pitch This Music.

She joined Combustion Music in September of 2005 as the Senior Creative Director. In November of 2009 she was upped to Vice President. She managed the careers of songwriters including Ashley Gorley (6 time ASCAP Songwriter of the Year, “You’re Gonna Miss This” Trace Adkins, “Then” Brad Paisley, “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” Darius Rucker), Gordie Sampson (“Jesus Take The Wheel” & “Just A Dream” Carrie Underwood), and Blair Daly (“Smile” Uncle Kracker, “Stand” Rascal Flatts, “Crawling Back To You” Backstreet Boys) to name a few, as well as local major label rockers Kings Of Leon, American Bang, duo Sam & Ruby, and Christian artist Matthew West.

In October 2010, she partnered with Mark Bright and My Good Girl Music/Chatterbox Music, a joint venture with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. She managed the careers of Jason Saenz (cuts by Little Big Town, Lee Ann Womack, David Nail, Easton Corbin), Universal Music Group Nashville recording artist Mallary Hope (“Georgia Peaches” Lauren Alaina), and April Geesbreght (multi-week #1 “My Hope Is In You” Aaron Shust). In July 2011, they celebrated a #1 with Keith Urban’s single “Without You”.

In July 2012, Stephanie decided to go back to independent songwriting management. A service which focuses on consultancy for songwriters, producers and artists along with pitching songs, catalog management, establishing co-writes and A&R.

In August 2014, Stephanie formed her own publishing company, Gravity Gone Music. She partnered with BMG to sign Jason Saenz. Scotty McCreery released, “Southern Belle” as his single in August 2015. Gavin DeGraw released, “She Sets The City On Fire” as his single in July 2016 which went Top 10 Hot AC and charted on the Top 40 as well. Also the following current singles out in 2017, “Always You” Andrelli f/Elle Winter, “Coming Up" Tungevaag & Raaban & “Nobody In The World” Ashworth. And other cuts by Kassi Ashton, Lee Ann Womack, Drake White, Jacob Davis, Brent Cobb, and Clare Dunn to name a few.

In November 2015, Gravity Gone Music partnered with Deluge Music to sign songwriter/producer, Oran Thornton. Oran produced Angaleena Presley’s record, Wrangled. Also co-wrote the first single, “Mamma I Tried” and “Motel Bible”. Rolling Stone Country ranked this record at number 10 on their Top 40 Country & Americana Albums of 2017.

January 1, 2018, Gravity Gone Music continued working with Jason Saenz and Deluge Music forming a new joint venture.
